The Protecta LP Rat Bait Station is the perfect low-profile trap for targeting hard to reach areas. This trap is 3 3/8 inches tall and can be placed beneath furniture, under bushes, and in other confined spaces. This rat bait station has entry holes on both sides and comes with horizontal and vertical mounting poles for bait. The vertical pole can be used during periods of heat to better keep the bait on the pole, while the horizontal pole can keep bait from becoming damaged during times of rain. Note: The Protecta LP rat station product does not include bait.

Protecta LP Rat Bait Station Use

Load the rods in the rat station with bait.
Close the rat station’s lid and make sure it is locked.
The loaded rat bait station should be placed in areas known for rodent activity. If the trap is placed against the wall, make sure that the entry holes are closest to the wall. Trap can be placed in corners, outside, and any other area inhabited by rats. Make sure that bait is inaccessible to pets and children.

The Protecta LP Rat Bait Station is an excellent trap that targets rodents while keeping bait in a tamper-resistant environment. Because of the smaller size of this rat station, it can easily be placed in inconspicuous places. This keeps the station from becoming an eye sore, while still controlling rodents, whether indoors or out.

The Protecta LP Rat Bait Station comes with vertical and horizontal bait mounting rods, as well as a two-pronged key. The rat bait station locks automatically upon closing, but is easily reopened using the key. Rodents find the bait while exploring the station. The scent of some bait attracts rodents into the rat station. The mounting bars keep the bait from being carried out of the station.

I've had several mice that were getting too smart. The first time I used glue boards which worked well but then I needed a bigger solution. I put out 3 of these bait stations on the outside of my house and I put 1 in the garage. The bait was devoured the first week. Now the bait is usuaually untouched but I keep the traps out to guard against getting them back. I haven't noticed any signs of mice or rats lately.
